Yup! I'm still living here in Bakersfield, California. I had back surgery last February 2008 and am on the better side of the recovery now. I still have my sights on Jesus, but still having a difficult time with the local church here in town. Many of them are dedicated to growth structures or the latest church phase or craze. For now, I'm one of those 20 million that Barna talks about who are disillusioned with the structure. It's difficult for me to sell out to these instituions. No church is perfect I know, but after three attempts here in my town, I've encountered strong politics, super ficiality and the charasmatic circus. I still have fond memories of the 'Coffee House' and all my innocence in Jesus. It was one of the greatest times of my life.

Good to see your post here. I have forgotten who is who over all these years. Once I saw your picture (then), I now remember who Tim is. Of course, if I had seen you travelling by on your bike (the now) I would not have made the connection. Good to see you, bro!
