What I'm Up To These Days
Apr 22 2007, 3:24 PM EDT
Many of you may think that this isn't too spiritual, but I have a web site you might be interested in if you are an old school "Superman" fan. I have a site entitled, "Glass House Presents." The url link is http://www.glasshousepresents.com
It is a site of "Friendship And Camaraderie" and the only site in the world to host the "George Reeves Hall of Fame." Its easy to navigate and you will find some of the world's finest writer's and contributor's on the life and legacy of George Reeves. What once was a hobby has now turned into one of the finest pages on George (Superman) Reeves in the world. No, we don't worship George, but his life's contribution to cinema and TV is still felt world wide. Take a cruise over there when you get a chance. God Bless, Carl 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Thanks Father for the kind words about the web site. I did meet you on a couple of ocassions. I did so much appreciate the impact you made on our lives back then. I also give you kudo's for the work you do on this site and giving a hand to my buddy Dan Brake. I saw Dan today at my wife's graduation. Dan was there because he is a faculty member. I sent Dan a photo for you to post. It's how we look today. It would be nice if you could place it next to the one of us 34 years ago.

Carl, I am an old fart. I am Dan Brake's brother. Superman was my hero in the fifties. So the question is, Did he do himself. I watched the moving and got the info when he died that he was depessed over the cancellation of the series. The movie indicates he was not that exicited about the series and was more interested in movies. Please clarify. God bless and see you in heaven.

Hey William:
Good to hear from you. The film Hollywoodland was filled with fabrications and the man who wrote the screenplay Paul Bernbaum is quoted in "Speeding Bullet, The Life And Bizarre death of George Reeves" by Jan Alan Henderson said, "This movie is going to piss a lot of people off!" George was in good spirits two days before his demise. They were going to shoot 26 new episodes in 1959 and he was going to direct a good chunk of them as he was preparing to go into directing full time. He also had some movie scripts that was backed by 20th Century Fox to do a Sci-Fi film in Spain. I also believe that he stopped his engagement to Lenore. I can recommend the great book I mentioned above. The author is one of my best friends next to your brother. Hey, contact me at carlesglass@aol.com Thanks for visiting my web site.
